Use of the Website
Access
You are provided with access to this Website in accordance with these Conditions and any orders placed by you must be placed strictly in accordance with these Conditions.
Registration
You warrant that the personal information which you are required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate and complete and that you will notify us of any changes.
Indemnity
You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold us, our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, arising out of any breach of the Conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website, or the use by any other person accessing the Website using your account or personal information.
Our rights
We reserve the right to:
Passing of Title and Risk
From the time of delivery, the goods shall be at your risk and you shall be solely responsible for their custody and maintenance as if you were the owner. However, notwithstanding delivery, the property in the goods shall not pass to the client until the goods are paid for in full and unconditionally.
Prices
Prices of goods and services supplied as of this date are correct but subject to market fluctuation and revision. Any overseas orders shall be charged to the client in UK Sterling (£ GBP) at current exchange rates. The company has no control or liability over these rates.
VAT
The company's price list includes UK sales tax (VAT) where applicable. Please note that VAT is not added to antique and vintage items and cannot, therefore, be reclaimed.
Liability
Under no circumstances will Fritz Fryer be responsible for any costs associated with any additional fees (such as, but not limited to, electrician's fees) arising because of, but not limited to, late, damaged or incorrect delivery of goods.
We cannot send out replacement products until faulty goods have been returned, received and tested. However, customers can re-order and pay for new goods to replace faulty items within 1 week of the original delivery, and then get a full refund when we receive the returned goods (as
long as they are in the same condition as they were originally delivered).
Nature of Goods
Unless specified, all goods in our 'Antique Collection' are to be considered as ‘used’. This means that signs of wear and minor damage are likely to be present. We undertake to mention in item descriptions only those things that may be considered to be of major structural or aesthetic concern. Of course, we will supply detailed condition description on any item on request. All dimensions and weights stated within product descriptions are approximate.
Cancellation
If the goods have been made by Fritz Fryer in response to a 'bespoke or custom' order from the Client, Fritz Fryer will not accept cancellation of the order. In the event of the goods ordered by the Client not being collected, or delivery not being accepted, Fritz Fryer reserves the right to destroy or otherwise dispose of such goods after a three month period without reference to the Client. Any deposits paid by the Client upon placing of an order are non-refundable for any reason whatsoever.

Lost and Damaged Orders
All orders should be thoroughly examined within 48 hours of receipt and any damaged or missing items including fixtures and fittings notified to Fritz Fryer immediately. Please do not dispose of the damaged goods or packaging as they will be required for insurance purposes.
Restoration
In respect of goods left in trust to Fritz Fryer for purposes of restoration, these are left entirely at the client’s risk and the client shall assume indemnity for that item/items. Goods entrusted to Fritz Fryer are not insured unless by prior arrangement and the cost of such insurance shall be borne by the client. Whilst we take the utmost care of goods entrusted, all work is undertaken entirely at the risk of the Client and no liability for loss or damage whatsoever is accepted by Fritz Fryer Antique Lighting.
Please note that any price discussed for restoration is an estimate.
Prior to inspecting the light it is impossible to predict the unexpected. Upon commencing the work, if there are any unexpected additional costs (which increase the estimated cost by 15% or more) we will contact you to confirm what action you'd like to take. Unfortunately the nature of antique restoration means that unanticipated complications do occasionally occur.
Storage & Collection
If you can't collect your item within 1 month of restoration, we can arrange short term storage at our premises (space permitting) for a small weekly charge based upon size. Any item not collected within 1 month without prior agreement for storage will be subject to a charge of £10 per week for fittings up to 1m x 1m and £25 a week for larger items.
Non Collection
If an item is not collected within 3 months of the completion of restoration and no storage agreement is reached, we will contact the owner to request its removal. If the item is not then collected within 3 further months following our request (or if an item is not collected within 6 months of being left in the care of Fritz Fryer Lighting with restoration not being given a go ahead), we reserve the right to sell or dispose of the item.
Insurance
It is a mandatory requirement that any item left with or collected by us for repair is covered by the customers own insurance and left with us entirely at the customers own risk.
Currency
Fritz Fryer only accepts British sterling (£ GBP).
