The Ledbury lighting collection is a simple yet stylish curved dome shape that is available in a variety of sizes and fittings.
Ledbury is a beautiful market town, situated between Hereford and Malvern. It boasts a vibrant high street and some stunning timber-framed buildings.
The Ledbury collection takes its name from the market town near our Herefordshire workshop, and its character from the same place: unfussy, well-made, quietly confident. It is our most adaptable family, running from wall lights and spotlights to pendants, clusters and bars, with dedicated bathroom-rated versions throughout.
The collection is designed and handmade in our Herefordshire workshop, as we have done since 1982, in solid brass and proper glass: the Ledbury pendant, contemporary wall light, adjustable spotlight, 4 light bar and staggered clusters, with bathroom swan neck and bathroom pendant versions rated for wet rooms. One family, most rooms of the house.
Because every piece is made to order, finishes and drops can be matched across the collection, so a Ledbury kitchen, hallway and bathroom can speak the same language. Tell us which rooms you are lighting and we will help you build the scheme honestly.
The Ledbury collection is a Fritz Fryer family of pendants, wall lights, spotlights, bars and clusters, named for the market town near our Herefordshire workshop, with bathroom-rated versions throughout. Every piece is made to order in solid brass and glass, so whole rooms can be matched in one finish.
The Ledbury bathroom range is purpose-built: the bathroom swan neck wall light, contemporary bathroom wall light, bathroom pendant and bathroom 3-way staggered cluster are all rated for bathroom zones. Bathroom electrics have strict zone rules, so tell us where in the room each fitting will go and we will confirm what is safe.
UK bathrooms are divided into zones by distance from water: Zone 0 inside the bath or shower, Zone 1 above it, Zone 2 within 60 centimetres of it, each with its own rating requirement. Our bathroom-rated Ledbury fittings cover the zones they are designed for, and we will confirm exactly what each fitting suits.
Yes, that is the strength of the collection. The same family runs through pendants, wall lights, spotlights, bars, clusters and bathroom versions, all made to order in matching finishes, so a kitchen, hallway and bathroom can share one language. We can help you plan the whole scheme.
Yes. All Ledbury fittings take LED bulbs and dim normally with dimmable LEDs on a compatible dimmer, so the same wall light can be bright task light by day and soft glow by night. We can recommend bulb and dimmer pairings for each fitting.
A staggered cluster hangs several pendants at different heights from one ceiling point, creating depth and movement in a single fitting. The Ledbury staggered clusters, including the bathroom-rated 3-way version, are made to order with drops and light counts set to your room.
Yes. Every piece in the Ledbury collection is designed and handmade in our workshop in Herefordshire, as we have done since 1982, in solid hand-spun brass and proper glass, and wired and tested to current standards before dispatch.
Made-to-order Ledbury pieces are priced comparably with premium retail brands, rising with size and light count. What you are buying is solid brass rather than plating, handmaking in Herefordshire, finishes matched across your rooms, and fittings built to last decades.
