Lighting Consultation with Fritz Fryer
We have worked on a number of different lighting projects across the globe, from full scale hotel lighting schemes to beautiful Border Oak new-builds. During a consultation, we can recommend locations for light fittings and suggest a variety of options to suit your scheme. Furthermore, we will also advise on the types of lighting that are needed in different locations and discuss the control/switching of lights. Our lighting consultations, which can take place virtually or in person, we will sit down with you and look at the plans for your space and discuss which fittings and designs would work best.
Initial lighting consultation
Your initial lighting consultation can take place at either our Herefordshire studio or London showroom. You bring along all of the outline plans of your property (including ceiling heights), any photographs of the site and any inspirational images that you’d like us to see. The initial consultation normally lasts up to 2 hours and is charged at £120 +VAT per hour. You are under no obligation to purchase any light fittings from us, although we are sure you won’t be able to resist! For simple schemes, we find this initial consultation is very often all people need. However, for complex projects, we will discuss and agree the next stage at the initial consultation, depending on your requirements.
Lighting Scheme
Our lighting scheme service for both commercial spaces and residential homes includes a full interior and exterior lighting proposal. Within the scheme, we try to incorporate antique lighting and contemporary fittings to achieve a seamless integration of decorative and functional lighting (such as fibre optic, LED tape and emergency lighting).
Book a lighting consultation
A lighting consultation normal involves an initial 2 hour meeting to discuss your lighting scheme. We will call you to discuss what to bring before you meeting, but as a guide, please bring plans including ceiling heights. We will then propose solutions for basic lighting schemes.
There is a charge for this service.
