When choosing hallway lights, including lighting of the correct size is important.
A narrow hallway may not have the necessary space for wall lights, and therefore ceiling lights may be the answer. Including multiple flush light fittings down the length of the hall will ensure your hallway is illuminated efficiently.
Alternatively, a bigger space will require large hallway lights. This could be a gorgeous Georgian lantern, a stunning cluster chandelier, or even an antique chandelier.
Try to pick lighting that is proportionate to the size of the space. A large fitting in a small area may be overwhelming and far too bright. Similarly, a small light in a large hallway may look lost and have very little impact on the overall look and feel of the space
