Since the end of April 2015, I was propositioned by my old school friend, and now colleague, Emma in the pub, wondering if I would like to join the team, I jumped at the chance to leave my then current job at a very well-known local supermarket and I have loved every minute since!
I am a true Ross person, I’ve lived most of my life in my current family home, which was also my grandparents’ home, where my mum was brought up. I was so glad to move back to Ross after University, we have such a beautiful town, I’m very proud to be a 'Rossian'.
The Wellington by far.
They have been away for a while but boy am I glad they’re back.
I love anything Art Deco, the Deco Pillar we have hidden in the shop is gorgeous, some of our original shades we have in storage are beautiful also. I hope they stay there until such a time when I have a place for them.
Chocolate! Although I do love cheese, none of that mouldy stuff though please.
That’s like asking a woman to choose between all her shoes!
I’ll get back to you.
I do love Canada, I’ve visited three times to see my friend and it is beautiful. However I’m such a home bird I’m not sure I could manage the distance. Ideally, I don’t mind where it is but I would love to live in an Art deco town house, curved walls with sun rooms and an impressive stair case. Preferably by the seaside, but we can all dream can't we.
There’s so many! I would love a dinner party with William Morris, Anna Piaggi, Josef Albers, Wassily Kandinsky, Stephen Fry and an evening with Dave Grohl would be incredible.
A family holiday to Disney in Florida made me want to become Mickey Mouse in the daily Parades they have within Magic Kingdom, this stuck with me for years. Now however I don’t see the appeal of being in a stuffy smelly suit in the blistering sun.
I’ve never been interested in sports, I did however enjoy a game of baseball in Toronto. We didn’t have a clue what was going on, until a few hours in, when we realised it was basically an American version of rounders “Let’s go Blue Jays lets go”.
I love Dr Seuss. Especially his 'Oh the places you'll go' I have the book and in times of doubt, stress or worry I read it through a few times and it gives me what I need to be brave.
As for my favourite chocolate, is has to be butterscotch Green and blacks. My ultimate bad day remedy.
