This 6 armed waterfall chandelier attributed to Hancock is a stunning example of early 19th century craftsmanship.
The corona is decorated with a filigree ormolu design. Crystal spangles and crisp triangular icicle drops capped with perfect little ormolu balls hang from the top frame and lower frames. The detail follows through every inch of this equisite chandelier, mirrored glass inside the top corona and on the underside of the bottom ring reflects the hobnail cut centre piece and finial. The glass bobeches and candle pots are intricate also with hobnail detail.
It is a breathtaking centre piece, perfect for a dining room, drawing room or large stairwell.
