Beautiful, unique, lighting for the home...
Our unique range includes restored antique chandeliers alongside modern contemporary glass pendant lights and a full bespoke design service. Unique lighting for everyone and every setting.
We also love to recommend products and combinations which will work in your home, such as the clear glass Upton Pendant Lights featured above over a contemporary dinning table or the more traditional Wye Valley Pendants featured in the country kitchen below.
To us, customer service is key. We understand the process involved in deciding to invest in high quality lighting for your home, and our team are on hand to guide you through. We will advise you on lighting styles, lighting history, ambient lighting for the home, practical lighting tips (here's some for bedroom lighting, bathroom lighting and general lighting tips) and more. Any lighting question we can either our answer ourselves or we know a man (or woman) who can!
Our lighting scheme design service includes a full interior and exterior lighting proposal, making use of both antique lighting and contemporary fittings in order to achieve the seamless integration of decorative and functional lighting (such as fibre optic and LED).
We are equally comfortable working on listed buildings or mixing the old and the new to produce a contemporary lighting design.
We would suggest you call us or email (see below for contact details) to set up an initial Lighting Design Consultation.
Initial Lighting Design Consultation
The initial consultation normally occurs at Fritz Fryer Lighting, 23 Station Street, Ross-On-Wye, Herefordshire, HR9 7AG. You bring to the shop all of your outline plans of the property (including ceiling heights), any photographs of the site and any inspirational images which you'd like us to see. The initial consultation normal lasts up to 2 hours and is charged at £65 per hour. Nb, you are under no obligation to purchase any light fittings from us, although we are sure you won't be able to resist!
We are very familiar with working with architectural drawings and will mark the plans (so please make sure they are a spare copy!) with recommended locations for light fittings and suggest a variety of options to suit your scheme. We will also give you advice and information as to types of lighting needed in different locations and discuss control/switching of lights.
For simple schemes we find this initial consultation is very often all people need. However, for complex projects we will discuss and agree the next stage at the Initial Consultation, depending on your requirements.
