The start of 2016 is proving to be a busy period for everyone here at Fritz Fryer. With “new” members of the team settled in we are running as a well-oiled machine once more. We have had recent developments in our design department which have culminated in a few new products, one of which is the smoked glass. Keen to get online and introduced into our hand-blown modern range we needed some eye catching, punchy photographs; queue the idea of a collaboration with talented local print designer, Sunny Todd.
With a studio in Ledbury, the husband and wife duo Sunny and Emma are making waves in the interiors world with their hand printed geometric designs. They can list stockists such as Liberty and Heals in London and top department store, Le Bon Marche in Paris.
Along with the fabric experts came a recommendation for a photographer, Dan Barker. A fellow dweller from Herefordshire, Dan proved himself to be a total expert and perfectionist. The day of the shoot started early, the setting up aided by coffee and sweet treats was proficient and in no time at all we were under way.
Displaying the bold Geometric Prints by Sunny Todd against the hand blown clear glass pendant lighting was something that we were concerned about, however, everything tied in together and we had a fantastic day shooting. A few set changes, cushions here there and everywhere meant that we got some delicious shots of which, you can view below.
We would highly recommend Dan Barker as a photographer to capture the events of any occasion. As for Sunny Todd Prints, who needs an excuse to purchase a whole array of new cushions or fabrics anyway?
