The Ledbury Glass Pendant light is a stylish, modern and contemporary ceiling light. The lovely clear, curved, glass shade looks beautiful over a kitchen island, lighting a hallway or as a bedroom pendant light.
This designer light is made entirely in the UK, including the hand blown glass and it is of the highest quality. It is available in a variety of standard sizes the most stunning of which is our bespoke 'XXL' version. The simple clear glass is complemented with the addition of our squirrel cage bulbs.
Also available on our selection of handmade wall lights, this shade is highly versitile and has in the past been used to decorate large chandeliers. The Ledbury is also available in a ribbed glass which is popular on our IP44 rated bathroom lights as the ribbed glass neatly disguises the IP44 halogen capsule.
The Ledbury Pendant takes its name from the market town of Ledbury situated towards the East of Herefordshire. It is well known for it's significant amount of 15th Century timber framed buildings, the most famous of which, the Market House (pictured below), was built in 1617. Ledbury's origins can be traced back to around 690 AD where it is recorded in the Doomsday book as "Liedeberge" most likely taking its name from the River Leadon on which the town lies.
Fritz Fryer Collection lights are made using high quality, components and twistflex pendant sets. Our designer lights are handmade in our workshop in Herefordshire, UK where we endeavour to produce functional, traditional and contemporary lighting for country cottages and period homes as well as contemporary apartments and modern builds.
